Thanks god that the 737 will leave LH fleet for good. Despite all what people say about the well maintenance of these aging metals, honestly I don't fell safe flying them anymore.

I've done dozens of flights on these planes, of which 7 this year and I will miss them. I never felt unsafe, they always looked like new, outside and inside.

You are no longer a college student - your feelings do not determine your level of actual safety . The 737s had a series of spectacular rudder malfunctions.

Knock on an aileron, we had about 50 years of relatively flawless service from the Bobby fleet.

I noticed that the flight before the NUE roundtrip last night, was to/from my home base airport, BLL. A bit sad to realise that I have been on my last LH B737 flight; it has served BLL well for years (although the birds were becoming are bit worn given that they were delivered to LH in the early 90'ies).

Today and tomorrow they will do some fun flights for Press and LH employees. Then they go into LH Technik in FRA for removal of seats and interiors. They will be ferried to Alliance in SFB in the next two months.
