FCO Rome lounge

Hi All,

Flying LH next week from FCO-FRA.

Just wondering if anyone knows if the lounge in Rome has re-opened or if it's still closed?

Thanks!

It is open.
But don't expect much.

But still far better than being forced to exit the terminal and wait in a long line at checkin just to get a small voucher for a crowded cafe.

FCO Rome Star Alliance Lounge

Looking to use the Star Alliance Lounge at FCO which I understand is in Terminal 3. But my Lufthansa flight is out of Terminal 1. Is it possible to check in for my Lufthansa flight to MUC at Terminal 1, then walk to the Lounge in Terminal 3, then back to Terminal 1 for the departure?

Thank you, appreciate your help and information.

LH should operate from terminal 3, along with the other *A airlines.

this is also what the FCO website says:

https://www.fiumicinoairport.net/ter...terminal.shtml

seems the airport website is up to date, just left in SK out of terminal 3 as well, but SK said it should be terminal 1. I guess they moved recently.

by the way, the lounge is really nice with decent food.

The new Star Alliance lounge is the best business lounge, I have experienced. Very nice food (live cooking), a lot of space. And views to the tarmac.

I checked on the LH website and for flights departing from FCO to MUC it showed Terminal 1.

Hi swdke,

I live in Rome and fly Lufthansa weekly. FCO airport is undergoing major renewal prior to the new "A" pier opening at the end of 2020.

Check-in for LH has recently moved. Check-in is now located in T1.

After you pass security, follow the signs to "D" gates and go up the escalator. At the top of the escalator, you will see gates D1 & D2. From there, take another escalator up one level. You will see the Alitalia lounge on the right. Continue walking to the end of the pier and you will see the new Star Alliance Lounge on the left. It is about a 5min walk from security.

LH flights also depart from these "D" gates. Thus, from the lounge, it will be around 2 minutes walk from the lounge to arrive to the gate (often from the gate directly below the lounge).

I hope this helps ))

Dear fassy,

Further to my post directly above, just wish to inform you that the website link you give above is not the official FCO airport website. The official website is: www.adr.it

All my best ))

Numbered terminal designations (T1 and T3) are for check-in, then it's lettered gates areas. B gates (closest to the T1 security control) connect to the D gates (where the lounge is) by walking ~100 m through the C gates area. Once there, follow maestro1981's instructions in post 13.

Are the above directions still valid now / post 2020 renovations?
