the seat next to the stairs

HI I Have a seat already 33 aisle, but was looking at the seat next to the stairs.
WHy is this considered bad? seems like you get a bit more room.

Can you advise if you've sat in 38E ?

People don't like to be near the stairs as there is a lot of movement up and down the stairs to the lavs and the galley.

On 38E you have on your right hand side a wall, where the stairs are behind...
