Booking award to RIC (Richmond, VA)?

Booking award to RIC (Richmond, VA)?
I'm logged into my LH M&M account trying to book a domestic US award ticket from SEA to RIC (on UA).
RIC shows up if booking a paid ticket, but it doesn't show up as an airport when booking via M&M. Is that a glitch? Is it not possible to book some destinations for M&M via LH.com?
I thought this was a valid use of miles... would love insight if anyone has it! Thanks!
