Is SQ releasing Business Class seats on 77W for upgrades with M&M?

Hi all,

I am looking for a trip from BCN to GRU this August with SQ and I wanted to upgrade one leg from Economy to Business Class using miles with Miles & More.

Is SQ releasing Business Class seats onboard the 77W to star partners? (Miles and More). I have tried with a variety of days and no day is available. Do the seats become available later?

What are your experiences?

Thanks,

You meed a B,Y, or S fare to have a hypothetical chance to score an ug.

I had a few Bs last year but never succeeded whereas I had no problems getting award flights on the 77W and the A380. I guess the mechanism is not very sophisticated.

Interested in upgrading from economy to biz on routes DPS SIN FRA JFK. Where can I research the likelihood and procedures of doing so?

If C saver awards are available you should be able to score paid UG with elements.

Get an SQ KF membership and search...

Given this is 3 legs the upgrade will probably "cost" more points than just redeeming for a ticket. Upgrades are per leg.

It shows saver space available. Waitlist. This is going to be more than the 67500 show on the chart. To upgrade from Y - C. I am not seeing the charge per segment.

Those are all connections. DPS jFK being the origination and destination. Also How are taxes and fees associated with doing this type of upgrade.

I have never paid taxes and fees on an upgrade with SQ. The only route I know of with taxes and fees associated with an upgrade are on some carriers ex-London due to the additional APD to collect.
