I currently have 22,000 Miles and More award miles. And since they'll soon run out. I was wondering on how I could best use them?

Ps. I hope this is the right place for this, if not... it's my first day D:

Most airlines allow you to donate them to a charity for their use. I'm not sure about Lufthansa but you could check with them.

Moving this to Miles & More, where you can probably get more help.

I think you meant this jokingly and are still new, but aware that miles can't be sold for money as it is against M&M T&Cs and as well as FT T&Cs. Plus one cannot transfer miles from one LH M&M account to another in the first place so this is mute unless you redeem an award for someone else.

As you are based in Europe, there are regular mileage bargains on offer via LH M&M website with some of them going for as low as 10K mls round trip in Europe to select destinations. So 22K mls is definitely something you can work with.

European FlySmart awards (available 14 days before depature) are 15k in Y.

Alternatively get something from the Lufthansa Worldshop.

You can also rent a car for a weekend on Avis or Budget for this amount.

Forget the worldshop, its not worth the miles

On my main route FRA - LON the "Meilenschnäppchen" is 10k in Y + 15k optional for the tax and charges (Is 25k then, but you can alos pay for the taxes in €). The 10k would include on flight within Germany. Check out

http://www.meilenschnaeppchen.de/

Only problem could be that you have to depart from Germany...not sure.
