LX or LH? C - ZRH-BKK

LX or LH? C - ZRH-BKK
Hi,
I have a flight coming up in February ZRH BKK rtn. I am SEN and will use e-vouchers on one of the legs (Y-> C) and try to get an emergency exit seat on the other leg (in Y).
What do you suggest? Which has a better Business Class to make the upgrade more worth it (I never fly C so want to make it worth it)?
I know both are lie-flat so I know its pretty close.
The price is roughly the same and (obviously) LH involves connecting in FRA.
What would you suggest? LX or LH, or a mix?

IMHO, LX service in C is a little bit better than on LH. Seats are comparable.
I would always prefer a direct connection! FRA is awful for transit, ZRH is IMHO much better!

Evoucher Upgrade
P.S. SEN hotline says upgradable (with evoucher) booking classes for SWISS are S, U, V, Y and B.

evoucher upgrade on LX
recently i had one biz class flight on LX JFK-ZRH upgraded with two evouchers to first class. after that so quite comfortable flight i just got miles for a biz class flight credited.
in summer 2009 i had a similar upgrade also on LX and got miles for the first class flight.
has that crediting changed in between?

No, you were just lucky. The paid fare counts for the mileage credit. This has never been changed, but once in a while the IT systems don't transfer the fare information properly. Pure luck when it happens.
