this really makes no sense.

What is the value for a mile? 0.01USD? Makes the prices really, really high.

Maybe it makes sense for people who always fly suites, so don't care about the miles

It is cheaper to just buy the Suites seat, and then use the 2,000,000 miles to fly other award flights in C or F for the rest of the year........

It appears that SQ and DL are no longer partners, but SQ is basing the KF mile on the DL SkyPeso™'s value for award redemption.

This makes a lot of sense. For SQ. It basically says: Don't book us on miles. Fly LH F. Or try OZ. But don't event think about us.

QF any seat awards also come up with ridiculous multi-million award rates for first.

Just hope that LH will not feel prompted to "improve" their own redemption scheme...

If they do it is fine- it just means there is no incentive left to choose any carrier other than by price/schedule.

But you won't get patronized the Singa way!

The Suites redemption discussion is also on FT btw.

And it doesn't make LH's redemption levels less ridiculous ... only in proportion.

I wouldn't fly them even with revenue tickets

Their pricing for premium classes of travel is out of this world
