Hello,
I am flying into LAX from San Diego on an American Air/Eagle flight at 10:15am and connecting to a TBIT flight. I thank I will arrive at terminal 4. From the map it looks to be close to the TBIT. Will I have time to walk with 2 hours between flights and make the departing flight? Departing flight KAL leaves at 12:30pm. Also when I get to the TBIT will I need to go through security again or am I remaining in a security area between terminals.
One other thing AA says my bags will be transfered to the KAL flight but I am not sure any thoughts? I'm not leaving till late sept. so maybe this new liquid & gel issue will cool down by then.
Thanks Lax Travelers

centeredki69 - Welcome to Flyertalk. Yes you will have to go outside and reclear security at TBIT. 2 hours is plenty of time, I've done the same from DL (Terminal 5) to TBIT 3 times in about the same amount of time.

Welcome to FT!
You'll find that there are ways to get from one terminal to the next airside. There are tunnels and connecting buses. If you're connection to an international flight, all bets are off! You have lots of time to travel through the airports, so I wouldn't worry.
Are your flights all on the same record? If so you can check your bags all the way through.
