LAX Help Please
Can you go from Airtran gates to SW gates without having to pass through security??? Same terminal or a hike???

It's an easy 5-10 minute walk between terminal 3 and 1 and you'll have to go through security...

FYI, depending on the time of day, however, the lines to clear (or, in the OP's case, re-clear) security in Terminal One can be quite long.
