Thumbs up Provence in LA?

I just found out that a new bistro has opened just a couple blocks from my home. The business was just antiques but now it has a bistro with cheeses, crepes, quiches, sandwiches and meats all imported from Provence and freshley prepared. It's so cool.

They also have Largest selection of South of France Gifts, Tableware,
Glassware, Table Linen, Designer Cookware, Pottery,
Home Decor Items, Lotions, Fragrances
and more.

If you are in the Redondo Beach area you must check it out.

La Tour De Provence

Wow, thanks for the tip, Cheri! I am definately going to check it out. I was in Provence about 3 years ago & loved everything about it. I hope they have fleur de sel .
Can you eat there or is it just take-out?

Wingless, I"m glad I happened to see this in the "last post" column! I'll have several business trips in the LA area this summer and will have to check it out! Thanks for the heads up!

I stopped in tonight as I happened to be on Artesia on my way back from In-n-Out burger.
The place is darling. I hope they make it. They won't really get any foot traffic & it is not exactly on a bustling part of Artesia. They had absolutely beautiful things & the owners are charming.

Wonder if it moved...

I was walking in Manhattan Beach this morning & the Provence place that was on Manhattan Ave is no longer there. Wonder if they moved to this location...

Interesting. It looks a bit like a place nearer to me in South Pasadena called Nicole's Gourmet Foods. It's right near the Mission St. Gold Line stop, and sells all sorts of wonderful French cheeses, pates and other food products. They also do a very nice lunch there...interesting salads and sandwiches using their cheeses and meats.
