They changed the plan... I need something from tonight to 06. sep. Then they will go to LAS for a night or two and come back to LAX for 2 nights.

The Wilshire Grand is almost in Budget. With tax and parking its $129/night over hotwire.
But I didnt hear a word from them today, dont know if they want to stay there.

If they are open to the valley - I just checked the original dates you shared, Sept 6 to 10, and looking for 2 beds my first find is the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City.

It has a pool. The wifi charge is $7.95 per day per device. Self parking is $18.00.

Using the MVP site I see this (if they don't have a HHonors number, you can enroll your girlfriend online and get an HHonors account for her):

Plan Description:
M V P PROGRAM
SPECIAL RATE HHONORS NUMBER REQUIRED WHEN
BOOKING SUBJECT TO AVAIL RESTRICITIONS APPLY

Room Description:
2 DOUBLE BEDS
WIFI INTERNET 7.95/DAY-SERENITYBED-LUX LINENS
MP3 CLOCK-CRABTREE/ EVELYN BATH AMENITIES

Room rate: 135.20 USD per night 06 Sep 2011 - 10 Sep 2011

There is a 15.56 % per room per night tax.
There is a credit card required for this reservation.
If you wish to cancel, please do so 1 day prior to arrival to avoid cancellation penalties.

To get this rate you need to use this site:
http://directconnect.hilton.com/dc/d...requestid=9994

If she doesn't have an HHonors account use this link to get her one, which also enrolls her in a fasttrack to reach Gold status:
https://www.hiltonhhonors.com/landingpages/mvp.aspx

Here's a link to the property itself:
http://www1.hilton.com/en_US/hi/hote...ornia/index.do

Here's its location on Google:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=555+Un...3&z=13&vpsrc=6

I've just started going through the LA Hiltons with the MVP site and this is the first one I've come across. I'll post back with others if they have rates near $100.

The OP can get considerably better deals through Priceline and Hotwire; however, he needs to pay attention to the advice offered here concerning locations.

No doubt. I was just trying to help. He's got quite a challenge - trying to find accommodations for tonight(!) in the midst of Labor Day weekend, the last summer 3-day holiday. I feel for the guy!

They want definitely out of downtown, but not in the airport area. 2 Stars would be ok, too. Hotwire have a 2* Location in Hollywood for $99, but without pool, internet and I dont know what parking will cost.
I try priceline already, with no result. Cant use it for today again.

@sk3: Thank you! The only one in a right area is Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City but its to expensive.
One bed or two doesnt matter.

"Hollywood" has some VERY sketchy areas - I'd be leery of sending my loved one there without first knowing the exact address.

I've just rechecked some places in my neighborhood with the new dates (in West Hollywood) hoping to find some last minute deals, but no luck.

But calling the hotel directly might yield a positive result. I've done that for myself when I've had to switch out of a horrible hotel and was able to negotiate pretty decent rates.

Ok, the airport area is out. I'll look more into Studio City...

Hotwire shows a reasonably priced 3* in Sherman Oaks. The only hotel that fits the description is Courtyard by Marriott. It is located at the interchange of the 101 and the 405.

P.S. There is an outside chance it is the Carriage Inn about a mile north at Sepulveda and Burbank; not the greatest location, but better than downtown or the fringes of Hollywood.

This sounds good. And Sherman Oaks will be safe.

I've been striking out just looking at the different Studio City/Universal City hotel websites... the rates are too high.

Got a hotel over my own priceline account. $90/night + tax. Hollywood Heights Hotel, Free wifi, pool. But parking is $30. Have you a advice where to park cheaper in the area?

Tripadvisor say its good, yelp.com say its bad.

Now my own priceline bonuscash is gone for her

Checked in Google Streetview, there is a big public parking place just 100m from the hotel. Didnt know what it cost but I am sure it will be cheaper than $30. Thanks for your help @all.
