KLM availability finder

http://usr.v7.com/wpaa/

This site has an option to find KLM award seats. It may save some trouble when requesting KLM space from GlobalPass. Good luck!

Thanks
Finding availability to Latin America on KLM has always been very difficult, but at least this helps.

Viajero, many thanks for posting this link.
A great tool for planning purposes. It remains to be seen, if this inventory is actually also available for GP award requests.

I've just asked Globalpass to book a ticket on KLM based on the availability shown on this site. Incidentally, the same availability was showing on the KLM FD site.
I'll let you know whether I was successful with this request.

How did KLM booking go? I have heard you can call KLM and book a reservation then go to Global Pass and get ticketing. Similar to the TACA process. Is that possible?

I contacted GP last week with a KLM itinerary available on the site. I called back and they said they submitted the request to KLM and would e-mail a response. Four working days have gone by and no response from GP.

I will give them credit for finding a KLM business class seat for me back in late September.

Well, no luck with my booking request. Not a single answer from Latinpass to several emails (although initally they had been okay about replying), and impossible to get through on the phone (considering I don't want to hang waiting for their representative on an international call to the US). The window of opportunity has now passed, so no ticket. Poor service from Latinpass this time.

I never got a response from GlobalPass either regarding my last request.

The availability tool isn't that reliable though. I check it because it is quicker than NWA, but many of the available flights showing on the unofficial site I find don't come up on the NWA award site.

GP has actually come back to me by now, and says KLM hasn't responded to them. I think that is a weak defence. My contact is with GP, and not with KL. If they have a problem with KLM, they should sort it out with them, rather than blame them.

I commented earlier that the unofficial WorldPerks award site showed availability, yet when I tried to find these flights on the official NWA site they often did not appear.

I called GlobalPass again to try and get a KLM award showing on the Unofficial site and official site. GP said their network was down for the morning and no reservations could be made.

I called NWA and asked about seats I saw on the unofficial site, but not on the NWA site. The reservations agent said there were seats on those dates. The Unofficial site is more accurate than the NWA official site I guess.

I booked a KLM business class seat using my NWA miles. I then called Alaska and booked a second seat using Alaska miles. The taxes were $26 less for the Alaska KLM ticket...go figure?

It would have been nice to use some GlobalPass miles, but at the rate they move the seats would have been gone.
