Using miles on codeshare Copa flights?

Using miles on codeshare Copa flights?
Continental operates some codeshare flights for Copa between Houston and Panama; does anybody know if reward tickets can be booked on these (with promotional miles)?

I would recommend that you call and ask. But when I last checked (last fall) the answer was no. Million Miler miles were only good on Copa metal.

What might work is to fly standby on Continental (Copa) flight on the day of departure.
