Feeling optimistic after reading about Topps, I called LP. Computers still down, but system is expected to come back on line later today. I was asked to call on Monday. I sure can't fault them on being polite and sorry for delays, etc. I'm disappointed, however, that they have missed every deadline that they ever gave me. In the end, I'm confident that the miles will post.

Probably no PiP in the Galapagos for awhile. None of the Latinpass airlines are currently flying there! I was on the phone with Miami on Friday, trying to burn some of my miles on just that destination. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

I'm still waiting for Avianca to post. I didn't save the receipt, having been told by LP that only a boarding pass was needed. I've written to the travel agency for a copy (back in April) and still haven't heard. So I e-mailed Avianca and asked them to post the flight with LP. No response after several e-mails. Anybody got any ideas?

I was told today by Jessi at LP that all my segments, hotels and cars are in the computer, and that my 500,000 bonus will post by this afternoon. Immediately sent in a request form for a Taca flight (award seats already confirmed) from LAX to Belize for a Backroads trip with Cousin Craig6Z. Life is good! This one award more than pays for all the LP costs, so it’s gravy from here on out.

I was also just told by LP that as of today, all of my activity required for the million miles has posted! However they said it might be a week to ten days before the bonus miles post. I had what sounded like a very inexperienced rep, so hopefully my bonus will post sooner, maybe this afternoon with Jailer's ?!?

I decided to call and find out my balance this morning so I could transfer my 8,000 or so miles to Hilton to make the September monthly transfer. I have been at 8,000+ miles for months. My balance is over 1,000,000 miles this morning. Really cool! I guess I can transfer 30,000 miles and start playing the try to get a ticket to anywhere game. I'm stoked.

Called to double check and the promised bonus still hasn't posted. I don't so much care what they tell me, I just wish they would do what they say.

I too have finally joined the mil club,now the question will be how long till I get to lose the status(having used up the miles)

I have spoken to Jesse and others @ L.P.the last 3 days and sort of put me off for that time. The last of my flights and the last Thrifty has posted. They need to phone Thrifty to find out the # of days rental. This doesn't make sense, as I have 4 days posted with Avis, therefore, the # of days with Thrifty is irrevelant, IMHO. "Call back tomorrow" is what i have gotten for 2 days. I hope they don't tell me it will take 2 weeks to post, as i finished the run in May, and I was clearly told in the past that the Mil. would post immediately after the req's. were completed. I look forward to getting "blessed" very soon!

I am finally a mileionaire too! I think I'll get to work trying to reserve KLM to Greece in April and an August 2001 ski trip to Chile or Argentina on Avianca, Copa, Taca, or Lacsa.

Just made millionaire status. Two of my friends who I went with on the mileage run are still waiting for their credit since the beginning of June.
