As Semphyra stated, it's at online check in. 48 hours before departure. It's nerve racking if you are trying to compete for the upgrade at the 48 hour mark and need to add this info. Be prepared to add passport number, passport expiration date, KTN, emergency contact name and phone number.
My first time flying LA I tried adding it through the call center but the agent insisted I provide an expiration date. After several holds she got someone to add it and it was there when I checked in .. but all the time spent was not worth it when it can be added at check in.

Thank you Semphyra and AdamSouthFL, good to know the procedure, as I have used AA and BA to the US for the last 10+ years, it's been easy to add in MMB of each respective carrier.

I know it is scary, but LATAM has call centers that you can call and speak with a person who is typically at least can communicate in English at a functional level and assist you with many requests that people in this forum discuss. This is not a reflection on whether LATAM should have a better online functionality, it is a reflection on how adverse we've all become in communication with a human.
