LATAM Play and Android Devices
... don't like each other, discovered after already onboard. Same thing occurred on UA. 
Unfortunately, it is the only IFE on LA on the narrowbody planes. At least the music works, but no video.

On the return (a plane equipped with internet service), the system functioned just fine. It must be a "known issue" because when trying to play a movie on the first flight, the screen mentions the Android issue.
