SCL lounge access

I will be flying MIA-SCL in J, with a connection to Mendoza in economy (LATAM does not have business class on the short SCL-MDZ flight). Will I be able to access the new LATAM lounge at SCL with my arriving business class boarding pass?

Your ticket should be on Premium Economy on SCL - MDZ, so you should get access just fine

That would be the normal situation, but there is no award space in PE so I'm booked in economy for now. I'll keep watching to see if something opens up.

Ah, technically you might not be eligible, but chances are that they will still let you into the lounge if you explain your situation

To update, I handed the lounge agent both arrival and departure boarding passes and we were granted entry with no questions. It's a great lounge!

Am I correctly understanding thew new SCL LATAM VIP lounge that's really nice and everyone's favorite is accessible for all LATAM departures to all regions? So whether flying to IPC, MDZ, EZE or say even back to USA, all of those destinations have access in J or W to the nicest LATAMP lounge in SCL?

As far as I understand, the current state of affairs is:

1) IPC wouldn't have any lounge access (lounges are in the "you've already left Chile" airside area).
2) Int'l J and LA Black and DL Plat / Diamond get the "best" lounge.
3) Int'l W and lower LA/DL elites get the "middle" lounge (which is also quite nice).

I have a two day layover in SCL, arriving in J but departing in Y to EZE, all on LATAM. Priority pass lists the Skyteam lounge for SCL if traveling on a Skyteam partner.

Any experience using Priority Pass to get into the Skyteam lounge? Departure is at 12:35 pm.

An Alaska Airline award allows for free stopovers. It was originally 3 days but LATAM cancelled LAX-SCL on 12/22.

LATAM is not a SkyTeam partner, they have a joint business with Delta.

In the forum, there have been experiences of people able to get into the LATAM Lounge if they are connecting with a narrow-body flight in economy class. But since you have a two-day layover, I don't think you would get in unless you booked on Premium Economy.

Well I guess I'm out of luck then.

I'm getting into the Delta One lounge in LAX based on LATAM J, so I thought it might be skyteam, but I guess not.

I would upgrade to PE on SCL-EZE but don't think I can on an Alaska Award ticket.

Question: I have AS MVP Gold and will be arriving SCL in J; sadly continuing on in Y to AEP. I'm trying to figure out if that allows me access to the LATAM lounge with my MVP Gold status (part of OneWorld), or has that changed due to DL partnership?

Also, is guesting allowed as MVP Gold?

TIA.

If its a same day connection, perhaps by virtue of the J flight. But I dont think AS status counts for anything.
