LATAM/MultiPlus 2-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
LATAM is a total mess with their split between LATAM and MultiPlus. After using some points and having more expire, and having even more due to expire in a few months, I went to try to use my points at Amazon. I found that I could use around half of my 9000 points on a $15ish item, but when I got to the last step it threw me to a MultiPlus Brazilian site which said (after I translate from Portuguese) that it needed to do authentication of my account and the only options were an SMS or a voice call. The number i have registered at LATAM (from years ago, when it was LAN Pass that I was a member of) is a landline, so it can't do SMS. I tried several times to have it do the voice call, but no voice call ever came through. Is that because they were trying to call my US (+1) number from Brazil???
Then I went to the LATAM US site, and I can't find any more how to access my profile on the LATAM site. It throws me to MultiPlus Brazil for all account details (it doesn't carry over the fact that I'm a LATAM US member to the MultiPlus site), but at MultiPlus it doesn't show that it has anything in my profile (it asks me to fill it out from scratch), while this annoying 2FA is obviously using the "hidden" LATAM Pass side profile.
