What to expect
I AM LOOKING TO FLY LATAM EITHER BCN GU OR BCN LIM 767 in both cases.
HOW IS THE HARD PRODUCT IN J.
CAN DO THE 787 from MAD which I assume will be a much better product. Also the connection I am looking will have the 777 LIM GRU is this an old plane with outdated hard product... never flew PE on the A321 so interested also if it will be comfortable seating.

I'd go for the MAD service.
I am in a similar position, and can fly from either BCN or MAD most of the time, but I try and avoid the 767 - it's quite a dated J product, and somewhat inferior to the A350

Where you wanna go and for what? If you wanna go to Sao Paulo just for a trip.... take that fly, most of the 767 now have the same seats as the 787-8.
If you wanna fly for points or do a mile run the BCN LIM then the fly is operated by Latam, that have a better service.... but to get from Lim to Gru is another 5 hours fly.
If you wanna fly a nice plane, fly the A350 from Mad to Gru, Tam service is not as good as Lan but the seats have more leg room and the Screen is bigger. (Compared with the 787-9.... if find better the seat of the 800 also, the 900 on bed mode my feet will hit the other seat 6ft toll)
A321 PE is just like a economy seat with more leg room and best food.
777 is old but the seat is great.... is not a 180 flat bed but must be about 170...... if i have to choose a 777 vs the 787 9 i will take the 777 seat

I am based mostly in BCN but split time between BCN MIA and PDP (Punta del Este, Uruguay). For personal reasons have not done much travel this year. So was trying to maximize miles points. I am also switching from AA Advantage, currently EMERALD. Flirted with the idea of going with SKYTEAM but much prefer the value in OW Emerald status. So still deciding wether to opt for BA, IB OR LATAM program. Looks like will go for BAEC as will be able then to maximize transfers from CC usage to one program.
With that in mind was trying to look at creative routings and was coming with good options at about the same prices in J. Was trying to avoid flying PE in order to get better return on TP (miles). Some of the options were
MAD/BCN LIM GRU MVD/PDPD
MAD/BCN LIM SCL MVD/PDP
MAD/BCN GRU MVD/PDP
MAD SCL MVD
Connecting in LHR also came out but does not offer any competitive advantage.
Good to know about the 777 as this is an option connecting from LIM.
The next four months will have 2 trips to Uruguay and while there one to the US reason why asking in the LATAM forum as looks like will concentrate those trips with LATAM.
As as a side note since was asking about the hard product my last flight was wth IB A330 and their new J product is quite tight and uncomfortable.
