Help Deciphering Fare Rules please..
I'm planning to book a LAN fare CPH->MAD->SCL (RT) in I.
LAN's fare rules are a little confusing for me. The outbound is like this:
The inbound is like this:
Now, my questions are:
1. If I were to fly the first segment and then try to change the return segment date at a later stage, I would incur a penalty of DKK 1655 per change plus any fare difference? I'm asking because my return date isn't sure yet. I'm just being forced to book a return fare because a one way fare is going to be almost the same as a return fare
2. What if my life situation changes in the next few months (this is going to be a 4 month stay.. or more or less if there are any family emergencies to attend to..) ? If I cancel the return leg will I get approx half the ticket back (the fare values on outbound and return are approximately the same.. $1977 approx.) with DKK 2035? Or will another method of calculation be used? The rules don't make this clear at all. (Or will a OW fare be used for re-calculation?)

1. If I were to fly the first segment and then try to change the return segment date at a later stage, I would incur a penalty of DKK 1655 per change plus any fare difference? I'm asking because my return date isn't sure yet. I'm just being forced to book a return fare because a one way fare is going to be almost the same as a return fare

2. What if my life situation changes in the next few months (this is going to be a 4 month stay.. or more or less if there are any family emergencies to attend to..) ? If I cancel the return leg will I get approx half the ticket back (the fare values on outbound and return are approximately the same.. $1977 approx.) with DKK 2035? Or will another method of calculation be used? The rules don't make this clear at all. (Or will a OW fare be used for re-calculation?)

Ok, on further research I've concluded that a refund request after flying the first leg would result in repricing the fare so the refund amount would be very small.. perhaps $10-$50. Is this correct?
For changes I suppose the DKK 1655 fee applies + fare difference?
