LanPass Rewards Availability – Your expectations?
So… if one wanted to visit Peru for a few days to a few weeks using Classic level economy rewards redemption, what would one expect the availability to be? For instance, they fly daily YYZ-LIM-YYZ so how many seats would you think should be available between now and end of September 2010? (“should be” meaning fair to LAN and a reasonable expectation of LanPass members).
I have the answer, but want to check my expectations against others first…

answer: none
Ha. Shas12, that is an understatement. I painstakingly checked. There were NO tickets available to visit Peru YYZ-LIM-YYZ for a few days to a few weeks using Classic level economy rewards redemption from now until October, thereupon I quit checking. Considering they have several flights a week, with empty seats, I would have thought that they would free up a couple of seats a week at classic level. Yeah, right.
FYI, as many know previously you need to check day to day to day, very bothersome. I did find a way to access the 7-day grid, but you need to work in reverse. Start the trip in LIM-YYZ on a successful far out date and then work backwards to find a YYZ-LIM leg. At least the search is by week, not by day.
