That is with a Chile point of sale, so you need to access the Chile version of the LAN site. If you are in CLE that might be complicated as they redirect you back to the US site, but there is a workaround like using a VPN. The rest of us can see it regardless of where we are.

You can search availability though on matrix.itasoftware.com entering USD as your currency and SCL as your point of sale
That is certainly a good deal vs $875 in Y. Certainly will dig into this further. I hope to leave on 21, 22, or 23 DEC and return on either 26, 27 or 28 DEC.

Thank you!

Good thing I get 20% off my first LAN purchase with the USbank Visa. I've not used that yet and will use the discount here.

I tried to find the date that this sale ends. All I could find had to be google translated - my Spanish is pretty weak. It did not appear to have a date range that this special runs.

Do you see dates?

Thank you.

No, look on ITA to find the dates then click through to the pricing and click on the fare rules

Usually you work around this by using the country selector to set the right set of cookies, which some, but not all, pages on lan.com require to avoid getting their pedantic little knickers in twist. Are you saying this doesn't work when coming in from the US?

Yes, there is evidence that when in the USA, you can only choose the US website unless you employ some sort of mechanism to trick the website

Just checked from a CT-based server, seems fine:

http://www.lan.com/ took me to the country selector;

Clicking on Chile took me to http://www.lan.com/es_cl/sitio_personas/index.html

Works fine for me as well. Nothing fancy, I simply selected the country at the top of the page. Gives me pricing in CLP and an option to display USD - unfortunately that goes away when click over to the payment screen.

I recently used the 20% off, and it worked just fine. I had to purchase several LAN tickets as different transactions (long story), and US Bank gave me 20% off everything. Even though it was supposed to be 20% off my first LAN purchase only.

Much thanks. I've been waiting for my LAN card to show - the Mrs has had hers for a couple weeks. Figured I would split between the two cards to hedge my bets on my 4 PAX booking - minimum would be 10% in that case. If your experience applies I will get 20% strait away.

Cheers,

SI

Does your card/offer also come with the 3 upgrade coupons from US Bank?

Yes. Not too keen on these (for this trip) as the u/g coupons are only good 6 months out. I really want to hit this sooner than later as there is a current sale from biz SCL-IPC for ~$800.
