Foundation Room

I saw a couple of you guys on other threads mention the Foundation Room. Other than figuring out its associated with the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay I haven't been able to find any other info about it. Am heading out to vegas next month for our 15th annual trip and we're always looking for new places to eat at. What's the deal with this place? Is there some sort of history to it? Am staying at Encore--is it worth trekking all the way down to the other end of the strip for? Thanks!

I haven't been though when I do go it won't be for the food. The view and other eye candy will be good enough for me.

I have had dinner there a few years ago. Food was good, but more expensive than it needed to be. It was almost as if they thought that if they charged alot, one would think the food was on par with some of the best places in town. When I saw what my double espresso cost (I believe $8) I realized the entire tab was probably priced 25% more than it should have been. We were seated on the windows but the view is of the highway to the west.

The real enjoyment is having cocktails on the balcony. I start there and head elsewhere for dinner.

There are plenty of other places to eat IMO.
