I stay at mgm often (I get room and most food comped
.) I was there for 5/25-5/28: (1) the lines at the buffet were fairly long--I think this is partly due to the promo mgm is running, where they throw in the buffet for free; but they had about half the tables in use. They should have planned better. (2) at the players club desk, there were nearly 20 people on line and due to mgm's usually inefficiency, there were not enough agents to handle the crowd. (3) they sent me a promo that was very complicated--so much so that the agents didn't understand it either.
So what should have taken the agent no more than a minute to process, took closer to 10, since she had to go to a supervisor to get things straight.
[PS: the promo had to do with choosing between some meals comped, most meals comped, no meals comped--varying amounts of freeplay were offered instead.]

we stayed several times, have the club card, gamble a little, spend lots of money on food & shows there, but yet, never received any comps from them. i wonder why?
stayed at palazzo once and really, i mean really good comps are rolling in like crazy. rooms, food & services are so much better than mgm too.

They don't really care about what you spend on rooms, food, shows when it comes to comps. It all comes down to the gambling. I spent a few thousand over 4 nights at MGM Skylofts but the only comps I've received are some mildly discounted rooms at MGM because I only logged about 2 hours at the craps table one day.
