Venetian Concierge Level vs Palazzo Concierge Level

I notice that the main difference, by looking at the hotel web sites, is that the Palazzo concierge level suites are slightly cheaper, and they do not have access to the pool (indoor, or outdoor - ie can one swim in the winter months?) like the Venetian concierge level suites.

Which one would you recommend?

Palazzo. Newer, nicer vibe to it. Rooms are really well appointed.

You can't swim in the winter.

The heated pools are open in the winter, no?

If you like swimming in 40-60 degree weather, knock yourself out. Its way too cold for me (and I live in the midwest)

You get way less of the horrible perfume stench at the Palazzo than you do at the Venetian. Large parts of the Venetian are fragranced 24 hours a day - not in the rooms thankfully, but in most of the common areas.

I just got back from Palazzo concierge level, and heard from another guest that if you stay there you're allowed access to the Venezia pool as well. I didn't have occasion to try it; the main pool area was relatively sparsely populated (but sunny enough to be pleasant.)

My vote is MOST DEFINITELY, for the Palazzo Concierge Level. [Link has a brief overview of the Concierge Lounge @ Palazzo, and some pics]

.... and, I'll be there in exactly a week!

also, I find the CHI is much stronger on the casino floor of Palazzo. FWIW, I really like playing dice @ the Palazzo Casino.
