Service levels declining
Was in Las Vegas this past weekend.Went to three"nice"restaurants and I saw a marked declinre in service at Circo,Daniel Boulud, and Lawrys.
These places used to be overstaffed IMO-definitely not the case this trip.
Nothing horrible-but just not the level of service we have had before in these type of places.
All of them were pretty busy-DB was packed when we left(2 very large groups filling the side rooms)and Lawry's had a time when all of the tables in the main were full-and the two side rooms were 1/2 full.Circo(best meal of the three IMO-but I really like this place) was dead when were seated(we like to eat early before the rush)but full when we left.
So the business is there-but cutbacks in staff might be enough for diners not to return.
