Agreed. Stratosphere is run down, in a not-so-good neighborhood and has a terrible buffet.

All of the Stations are generally nice and friendly casinos. But that rate is nothing special. In fact, www.tripres.com consistently runs these good rates.

Don't take offense OP, you've had some terrific posts lately! Keep up the good work!

I'd like to nominate lemex the hotel find guru of this forum, some of his recent posts have been amazing. Now how about the Westin Palace in Madrid for $10/nt?

HA! I pricelined that property for $135 a night. Average cost for the palace is around $260-300 a night. If anyone can get $10 a night I will eat my shorts.

One problem with hotel deals like that is the surlyness of the staff when they see your rate. I get that crap with a 60% off priceline rate. Can you imagine how they would act for $10? You might just step up and give your confirmation id, only to have the entire desk staff simultaniously spit at you. I know legally if they sold it to you, they should have to give it to you, but to be honest, I would be nervous going to a hotel deal I got for like < $20 (not counting Reno or Vegas)

Maybe that is just me..

I'm starting to fall in line with people who insist this is just spam. Is the only thing that makes sense as to why Lemex keeps coming up with one night only, midweek rates that are of no use, unless booking other nights there.

We have a deal here in England that's very popular -hundreds of hotels belong to it....Free hotel as long as you spend £xx on food. This seems a variation of it.

These rates have been up for at least a month on Travelocity. Nothing special for that time of the year.

The Palace Station can be booked on Expedia some weeknights in November and December for $10 per night (First Night $20, Second Night Free. No code needed).

Where it might be relevant, but we really don't care about it.
