Hadn't been to MGM in over two years until last month and I'd have to say it was a pleasant surprise. Lots of nice restaurants and their KA show was great. As QuietLion said, the location is not the best and if you don't have a car you can use the monorail or walk over to Monte Carlo and take the tram to Bellagio and walk around from there. Have fun.

Thanks....
Thanks....
Both hotels are rated above mid-level. Both have nice restaurants.
Though if you prefer streaks? Then CRAFTSTEAK at MGM wins hands
down. A very beautiful view of the strip with Belaggio fountains going
on every 30 minutes with decent food. Then MON AMI GABI definitely
wins hands down at Paris. Location is not bad at either locations
prior to what others say. Yes? MGM is located on the south end of
the strip. But both locations definitely are "happening" with enough
things to do to keep you busy. Maybe the biggest drawback with the
MGM ??? That hotel is very large and the biggest as far as hotel rooms
and size here in Clark County. So by keeping that in mind? It will take
you at least a good 20 minute walk and waiting for your elevator from
your room to the front door of the strip. All casinos/hotels are designed
this way of course of luring to gamble in-house before you exit the
premises. But once again? That MGM is a monster. But Paris is no slouch
either. Enjoy.

Mgm..
MGM, while no where close to one of my favorite places in LV, is superior to Paris. The rooms at Paris are tiny and the motif is really weak (in my opinion). You have to walk forever to get to your room at MGM, but it's a better hotel.

In my opinion, The MGM is too big with its 5000+ rooms, I have stayed at the Paris twice, while their rooms are not really big, they are of adequate size. The location of the Paris is really good and their buffets too. I would opt for the Paris
