Saw the show in June and really enjoyed it. It is NOT a typical Cirque show, so expecting that type of show will leave you disappointed. What I was most impressed with was the live music overlaid with Elvis' singing. It was the next best thing to seeing Elvis live. If you go with the expectation of seeing an Elvis "concert" you will not be disappointed.

Viva Elvis is yet another show created by Cirque that leaves their former-soul at the theatre door and just assaults the audience with meaningless drivel, insane ticket prices and tech-wizardry that only works now and then. Needless to now say, I am not a fan.
Save your money and book one of Cirque's earlier shows (Mystere, O and on a lesser recommendation, Love). Hell, I'd even say go see Donny & Marie before heading to any of Cirque's 'newer' shows... At least with D&M you're getting genuine warmth, some sense of personality and two people who are working insanely hard to keep their audience happy. BN |

Some shows need a special offer code and some do not. If a code is required it will be in red at the top of the "which date and time page".

KA by Cirque Du Soleil
Where is the best place to sit for KA? I got a pair of tickets from their Fall Deals for $228. Is that a good deal for the pair of tickets?
Section 101, Row C, Seats 10/11 http://static01.cirquedusoleil.com/e...KA_Seating.pdf My friend just told me for KA, since they use the whole stage, it's better to sit further back in section 200's(Upper level) is that true or are my seats good? |
I've been to almost every Las Vegas Cirque show, and all I can say is that I'm always happier in the nosebleed seats. For most other shows I always buy the best seats available. But for CdS -- buy the cheapest, farthest seats you can get.
Front row balcony would be my first choice, but any balcony row is going to be good. |
Does anyone else agree that Section 200~ seats are much better than front row seats for KA?

The only tickets I've found are for the row KK, is that too far you think? |
Any seat close to the exit door would be good. Or better, at the BJ table outside the theatre.

We had seats in row J in Section 101. Our seats were those on the aisle adjacent to the central section 102.
These were were the second most expensive seats and a great position |
cheap tickets for Cirque De Soleil
I will be in Vegas from 1st to 6th august, staying at Bellagio. I have been to these shows before in australia so have an idea of what to expect.
From what I gather, there are two shows running KA and O running in vegas I wanted to know which one is better and what will be the best way to get cheap (and good) tickets for the show. Since we are there for 4 days, we can also go for a show on a non busy day such as Thursday or Sunday. Thanks |
There are currently 8 Cirque shows in Vegas:
O at Bellagio - most popular Cirque show - least likely to find discount tickets Mystere at TI - I have seen this and really liked it -traditional Cirque show Criss Angel Believe at Luxor - haven't seen it but have seen bad reviews Ka at MGM - back up and running after a performer died a few weeks ago from a fall during the finale. The Beatles Love at Mirage Michael Jackson's ONE at Mandalay Bay - just opened - doubt if you will find discount tickets for a while Zarkana at Aria - another big sweeping Cirque show, but I personally wasn't too fond of it. But others have loved it Zumanity at New York New York - their sexy show. More intimate than other Cirque shows, and much funnier. Not for anyone under 18. If you are uncomfortable seeing topless women or two men kissing, this is not the show for you. As to cheap tickets, it depends on your definition of cheap. Cirque shows are all rather expensive. I would start with the discounts on their website: http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/pro...s/default.aspx Keep in mind all the Cirque shows only perform 5 days a week, and the 2 nights off vary from theatre to theatre. |
Also you can go to the cheap tickets booths setup all over the strip (http://www.tix4tonight.com/). We did this on a holiday weekend and still got tickets to Mystere for 40% off, and actually 8 tickets together. Just be flexible.
