Lobster Tail Dinner

Does anyone know of a "hidden secret" place for a good lobster tail dinner. Been going to Vegas for years and never came across a good deal, except paying $40.00 and way up in the hotels. Will be going Jan.25-29th staying at the Golden Nugget Hotel.

Bob Taylors Ranch House lists Lobster Tail, but you'll have to call them to see what the price is:

Walk down the street to the "El Cortez".
Roberta's Resturant there has a lobster tail special that I think is $18.

I found a web post that said it was a Thursday Special. I was going to post this here, but it's not on the El Cortez web site.

Flamingo coffee shop has a nice prime rib and 1/2 Maine lobster special for lunch. I believe it's $14.95. And the beautiful new food court at Caesars Palace has a delicious Lobster Roll. I don't remember the exact price but it includes fries.

The Rio used to have small lobster tails in the seafood buffet (I think the claws crawled up the street and jumped into the Freemont Seafood buffet). Ceasers used to have a Friday or Saturday seafood buffet with one large lobster (you could purchase more).

Try the "steak" and "lobster" special at Bourbon Street. I think they cook the lobster in their dirty dishwater.

Just be careful when you walk down to the El Cortez..lots of interesting folks on the walk from Las Vegas Blvd. on to the hotel's property. Based on the location and look of the exterior, I would never eat there...
