LAS lines

Keep in mind that LAS is the nation's fifth busiest airport in the United States, and the second busiest in the world for final destination. The airlines routinely overbook on Thursdays and Sundays. If you are going to travel on those days my advice is travel in the evening, after 7:00PM. On Thursdays and Sundays we will move in excess of 70,000 persons. If you can, travel on non-holiday Mondays, or any Tuesday or Wednesday. Remember, the checkpoints can only move so many people per lane, per hour. When the airlines are carrying 125% of their load, it can be lengthy. If you dislike the wait I would talk with an airline station manager and tell them to spread their flight schedule out a bit more. The airlines tend to love the almighty $ and care less about your wait time. Hope this helps some people out, it helped me!
