MGM Grand
After asking for advice about the MGM, I thought I'd send this short report.
I am staying at the MGM now and have been pleasantly suprised. Easy check in (at 11 am). Room is large and very nice. The bungalow suite/king is a large room with an executive suite feel. A wet bar and a fridge. Large bathroom and a very nice view. Living room area has a new coach, chair side and coffee table. It also has a table with two chairs. I parked in the self-park area and didn't find the walk that big a deal. Lot's of restaurants of all types. Overall, an amazing value for $55.

MGM has one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas ie Emerill's Fish-house because of my favorite dessert the huge Banana Cream pie it just to die for.
But I had a big fight with the pit bosses at one of the craps tables where they incorrectly called a cocked dice roll, I was so mad they even called the assistant casino manager a pretentious little Australian named Arnie Cope to try and shut me up. Needless to say I have not gambled at all there since.
Which brings me to another point anyone notice that a large number of mid level casino managers seem to be Brits or Australians? Why??

I received the rate from the sales department. Since I influence where many of my firm's conferences are,I often get "special" offers. Generally, I'm comped, but this was more of a courtesy price.
