I haven't seen it, but my friends who live there say the Danny Gans is clearly the best show in town.

My favorite must-see shows in Vegas, in order:
1. Blue Man Group (Luxor). Unique mixture of humor, rhythm, lights, and audience interaction. If you're brave sit up front in the "poncho section." You won't get THAT wet.
2. Mystere (Treasure Island). The first Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas. Beautiful and magical with great music. No bad seats.
3. O (Bellagio) The second Cirque du Soleil show. If you love water you can't miss this. Ridiculously expensive. If you have any money left eat at Picasso or Olive's afterwards and watch the fountain show.
4. Lance Burton (Monte Carlo). The world's best magician mixes gentle humor and interaction with kids into his brilliantly executed act.
5. Siegfried and Roy (Mirage). OK, their dialogue is wooden and their tricks are stale. But the animals are beautiful and the production is utterly world class. The dancers are beautiful whether you like watching the girls or the boys.
The best girlie show in town is Midnight Fantasy at Luxor. Also, Penn & Teller and Louie Anderson are frequently in town and are worth seeing.
Have fun!

Las Vegas shows recommendations?
I am going to Las Vegas in 2 weeks and I always like to see at least a show. What would be your recommendations? I already saw EFX with Tommy Tune but I hear that Rick Springfield is good. Is the Siegfried and Roy show good?

I'm in LV several times a year on business. I seen many shows. You pay big bucks (unless your a high roller and can get a casino to "comp" you), but they are usually worth it.
I saw S&R many years ago and the show was great. However, I've heard it is not as good as it was. Check with folks who have seen it recently.
The shows to see are the two Cirque du Solie shows, Mystere and "O". I believe they are among the most expensive and hardest to get, but if you can tickets, it is well worth it. The shows are amazing!
Enjoy your trip!

It begins and ends with "O".
Barring that, "Mystere" is great (and more affordable), Danny Gans, Sigfried and Roy, and the "Blue Man Group" are all good. I also think "Legends in Concert" at the Imperial Palace is an exceptional bargain (good show, great price).
I saw Carrot Top last time there, and believe it or not, he was a hoot.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal has reviews of the current production shows in their Neon section. It can be seen here: http://www.lvrj.com/lvrj_home/neon/s...nts_shows.html

One of the most sold-out shows: the blue man group at Luxor. Anybody I spoke with who has seen the show was really impressed.

Blue Man Group at the Luxor, no doubt about it !
But you know - ask 5 people and you'll get 8 answers. It depends always on the gusto of each individual ...
(therefore I personally hate these sissy tiger tamers, even if the show itself is not too bad)

Hi: depends on what you like. Most people would recommend Danny Ganz. His show is very expensive and if you want someone just as good and much cheaper go for Bill Acosta. Not sure where he's appearing but you can check on line. Additionally, if you don't mind spending good bucks, there's Mystere at the Treasure Island or O at the Bellagio. If you really want to see one of the oldest shows in Vegas that's a great bargain, you can go see Jubilee at Bally's and if you look around you can get two for one tickets for that. If you like magic, Lance Burton is terrific. Bear in mind that there is lots to see for free as well. Have a great time.
