Interesting, I ate breakfast there about six months ago after a long hiatus because it wasn't any good. And I didn't notice any improvement last time.

Let's see: I had about a month's supply of bacon (:)), a made to order omelet, and some biscuits/gravy. Others in our group had some pot stickers and some stir-fry, one had waffles, and the other had fried chicken and roast beef. Hard to mess those up. But as I've mentioned before, I'm not picky.

We were in the Diamond section, had very attentive waiter. He provided a huge carafe of soda, and kept it refilled, which was much appreciated.

Are you kidding me?

Let me guess - they added a "Resort Fee"?

Isn't Harrahs one of the only groups that has resisted the resort fee?

Interesting that they raised it, given the huge sign on the side of Bally's hotel, etc. Must be popular enough that they're trying a higher price point.

BTW, $34.99 is for TR members, its $39.99 if you're not.

We used to love the Spice Market. Recent comments seem to indicate it has gone downhill since we were last there four years ago.

Still, the all inclusive price for seven buffets seems to be a good deal to me. It allows you to bounce around and eat at different properties.

We don't go to Vegas to go out for dinner; so we find just about any kind of buffet to be just time in terms of choice, speed and quality. With the seven venue pass, we could easily move from one to another if the first didn't suit our fancy.

Cheers,

It's still the best of the 7 buffets.

Cheers,

Moving from one buffet to another for the same meal isn't as simple as it sounds; the line is pretty long. I went to Rio for dinner early, got in pretty easily, decided I didn't like it and went to Paris. My excursion to Rio had taken long enough that it was getting on into regular dinnertime, so the line at Paris was pretty long.

I did the strategy of eating dinner late so I could eat dinner early the next day. Well, that works in that they will let you in to dinner the second day with no problem, but then when you get in there your stomach is full and you can't eat with any real enjoyment. If they have the pass the next time I go, I'm going for dinner, maybe a little breakfast, and lunch, and that's it.

Let's just say, fortunately (or is it unfortunately lol?) we rarely need to stand in line.
