Cool. Will be at Cosmo this weekend. Looking forward to loosened masking requirements.

Here's something more definitive from Cosmopolitan's web site:

"On Thursday, Feb. 10, Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak announced the statewide mask mandate has been lifted, effective immediately. All guests and CoStars, regardless of vaccination status, are no longer required to wear masks."

Woo-hoo! Just in time for my visit.

I suspect, all casinos have rescinded the mask mandates, and for those who haven't, I really don't think anyone cares. They're just all going off and you barely seen anyone wear them, even on elevators. While this is purely speculative, I suspect that even if we were to have a super-duper virulent variant, I seriously doubt the hotel/casinos are ever reimposing the mandate, especially since convention money has started to refill their coffers.

2/26/2022 at Cosmo: basically no masks at all. A very very few customers and staff are wearing them (like a few % at most). Not only is it over from a policy standpoint, but people are really embracing the “overness“.
