Vdara

I booked the Vdara Corner Suite with a view of the fountains. It seems like a nice hotel. I don't mind not having a casino as I can walk or take the monorail/buses to other casinos in the area.

I agree if this is your first time stay at a casino hotel but if you want something nicer that stay at the Vdara. I have always wanted to stay at the Vdara or Aria ever since it opened as I loved the look of the rooms.

I spoke with the nice concierge at the Vdara and she will get me comp passes to liquid at Aria and help me to get on guest lists at nightclubs.

I requested the floorplan with the bathroom where the bathtub is next to the window because I love enjoying a bath with all the lights down and see the strip.

The pool is the perfect size for me sometimes large does not mean relaxing. Now that they took care of the Death Ray. All the better.

Easily done, no witnesses.

And +1 at Vdara, one of my favorite hotels. The 5 min walk to either Aria/Bellagio isn't a big deal at all.

+ another 1. I have stayed at a range of hotels along the strip and I really enjoyed my executive corner suite at the Vdara. Loved the smoke free atmosphere, not having to walk for miles through casinos to get to my room or the foyer.

Transfer to Aria or Bellagio is very simple.

If I were to order the ones I have stayed in, in preference it would be;

Vdara
Cosmopolitan (Overlooking the fountains)
Aria
Planet Hollywood (Strip view)
Planet Hollywood Towers (As was!) Loved the drop down movie screen and projector.
Luxor
.
.and a long way down
.
HoJo. (Last minute a long time ago before I knew what I was doing and needed something in a hurry!)

But still lots on the list I want try!

When are you staying? Would love to get a report back of what kind of view you can actually get from Vdara given that I would expect Cosmo and the Bellagio Spa tower to block it.
