HOW WAS THAT???

Thanks for the report. For those of us that go to Vegas on a regular basis, it's nice to see the excitement and enthusiasm that's involved in someone's first visit. I still remember my first visit 16 years ago like it was yesterday. This was before the proliferation of casinos around the country, so we didn't know what to expect. Free beer, huge casinos, all the lights, noise, etc! I was hooked.

Now, even though my wife and I get there about 4 or 5 times per year, the excitement of arriving in Vegas is still a rush! Stepping into our favorite casino is like coming home again. It's different than the first trip, but still just as exciting.

So, the question is, "when are you going back to Vegas?!"

Already looking at dates :)

You totally have to just walk the strip. Take the monorail to one end....either the stratusphere or the MGM and walk the length of the strip. Its fun to just walk in all of the casinos and see how they are a bit different. Walk inn the lobby's of the hotels...they are so amazing

Rent a car---And drive out to Hoover Dam and then old school downtown Vegas. The Golden Nugget is pretty cool (with a water slide that goes right through a shark tank!)

Casinos----If you are on a budget try the sahara---$1 poker, $1 hot dogs....plus they have a video roulette game that you can play with $.25 its a great way to just play around....we actually won $100's on this game!

Food---So many options...our favorite was in Paris It was a little sandwich shop that sold really cool french sandwiches.

Hotels---We stayed at the Hilton Grand on the Strip--only because a friend has a time share....jump on priceline or hotels.com and book something. The stratsophere was a fun night stay but next time we would stay that the mirage or luxor or something more centrally located

Dont buy drinks!---They are free at every casino!

Bellagio fountains are amazing---

Skip the Treasure Island show

HOW WAS THAT???

Yep...the Golden Nugget tank is awesome? Did you enter Wynn, Encore and Venetian?

Yup we did the Wynn and Venitian....never got into the Encore, but is it identical to the Wynn?
