First KE flight J class
Hi, this will be my first time on KE J class, and wanted to know if Ill get the new seats in both flights. Im thinking about booking a seat on the upper floor on the 744. I'd like to hear some suggestions about best seats from most experienced KE travellers.
My flights are:
BKK-SEL KE654 (777) September 15th
SEL-NYC KE081 (744) September 15th
Thank you very much.
Hernan

No new seats on BKK-ICN. Yes new seats on ICN-JFK.
Upper Deck window seats have a side cabinet for extra storage. Exit Row seats on Upper Deck have extra legroom but PTV's in armrest. Some Lower Deck seats behind the entry door may have extra legroom (looked like it to me, but I couldn't swear to it). Other than that, all basically the same.

I've always preferred the upper deck on KE, and choose a window either in front of or at the exit row. The window has the mini-locker at your side which is very nice for storage and for as a side table. The seats are like pods, so it doesn't matter how much you recline or the person in front/back of you reclines, you won't be contorting around them and vv.
Overall, I think KE's J is a good product for the value.

Good product for the value I agree. Go for the Korean food rather than the Western food (they are not too good at it), the wine selection is OK, the lounge at Incheon is pretty dated, keep your expectations low there... particularly in the morning the food is not great.
On the 777 flight, I guess it is overnight like the SIN one that I took, don't expect much either, if there is decent food at the BKK lounge (the SIN one sucks), splurge before boarding!
Reminder: no amenity kits...
The FAs are very nice, the planes clean, the seats good, so you will enjoy it.
