Breakfast on long hauls?
What's breakfast like in C on long- or medium-haul flights? I'm not sure if any of mine have it, I'm just curious, in case.
(I'm flying SEA-ICN, ICN-HAN, BKK-ICN, and ICN-DFW, for what it's worth.)

BKK-ICN will serve no meal after boarding. They want you to go to sleep right away because it can be a very short flight for an overnight. They will serve breakfast prior to landing at Incheon. Whatever it was, it wasn't remarkable. Might have been some eggs and breakfast meat along with bread and breakfast pastries or an Asian dish such as noodles. Mostly you're just irritated at having to wake up after barely 3 hours of sleep and feeling sorry for the Koreans around you who, as likely as not, have to start their day this way. The good thing is you can get more to eat in the lounge for breakfast, you'll get a nice lunch/dinner meal after leaving Incheon for the US, and a breakfast en route to the US. The one thing I dislike about ICN-USA service is that they often wake you up nine hours into the flight to serve you breakfast, which is basically 4 or 5 a.m. Dallas time-- same for ATL and IAD. They should have a longer time between meals and serve breakfast closer to landing so your day in America doesn't get stretched out too much. You might have some flexibility with that in Business Class, especially if you tell 'em in advance that you want to sleep more.

I agree with the previous post.
I recently flew from US to Asia on KE and food was just awful. SEA-ICN was a really long flight (12 hrs) and I just slept through everything on BKK-ICN. If you have status, I would eat at the lounges in ICN and BKK or just at the airport.
