KE 74 misconnect options

KE 74 misconnect options
My KE74 Yyz-Icn. Will now miss connecting to KE663 (25 mins) so offered refund or Jin air flight As this is a budget airline I would prefer to stay overnight Icn ( Hyatt) and catch next day Ke663 But Korean say they can only request’free’ Hotel stay ? Should I wait them out ? flight end of November.

Korean Air codeshares now with Jin Air since they own it, but you're not wrong - don't take Jin Air it is FAR INFERIOR. 25 minutes is not an allowable connection either. Don't accept their offer, tell them if you wanted to fly Jin Air, you would fly that airline originally and that you only will accept Korean Air planes. I would wait it out. Or message them on social media, Twitter, or call even the Korean line but English option. Def I wouldn't accept Jin Air lol.
