First Time in KE First

This is my first time flying Korean in first class. I’m going from Hong Kong to Seoul to Seattle.

I know nothing about Korean Air (other than nutrage) and the do’s and dont’s. Do they offer meals you can order before flight time? Are there any lounges I should be sure to get to? I don’t have much time in Seoul. The A330 has a weird set up in first class for my first segment, and doesn’t seem like there’s a difference between that and business. Luckily this is the shorter flight.

Anyway, just any general tips people can give me about Korean air first class that I should be sure to not miss out on would be appreciated.Thank you

Nothing really super unique or wild.

You will have Korean Air lounge access at HKG which is just standard older place. At ICN, the entire terminal where KE operates is brand new just three months old with a lounge only for first class passengers. No fast track at ICN.

I believe the offer special luggage tags with your name made while you are in the lounge.

On the flight from ICN, be sure to eat the Korean meal as KE shows off the special farm in Jeju where they raise the cows and animals and grow the veggies for first class food.

On your HKG ICN flight, if the first class cabin is sold as first, it will be first service....which isn’t tooooo different on a short regional flight.

I need to be in Seattle, but SQ HKG-SFO in F opened and I’m considering that option even though I already booked KE and I would have to overnight in SFO to get to SEA.

Decisions decisions...

While many here laud SQ and I think it's deserved, I mean KE is not bad or sub par per se. Just not as "bells and whistles" flashy.
gpy likes this.
