how long will Korean Air hold a reservation
i dont have sufficient mileage for flights 9 months out but the seats are available, any experience would be appreciated

I was offered a 2 month hold, the most generous policy that I have experienced of any airline.

They will give you an expiration time down to the hour but generally my holds have been around 3-4 weeks.

When I called in, I was offered a hold of over 10 months (I think up to 5 days prior to date of travel)
