Is 55min connection at ICN enough?
Is a 55min connection to another international flight at ICN enough time?
Seems really short to me but Korean Air does offer that connection.
If I book the trip and miss the connection, what happens?
I dont have status with them or their alliance.
Thanks!

It usually takes me some 30 mins to get from the gate and thru all the security check. It takes longer if you need to go from one terminal to another. But if you do that on KE or OZ flights, I believe you can make it as long as everything goes as scheduled.

If they're offering the trip on a single ticket, then obviously they think it's long enough. If you misconnect, it's up to KE to rebook you onto a subsequent flight.

I had a 45 min connection with my plane arriving late at ICN on KE and it went fine. ICN is one of the world's most efficient airport and as long as you're staying within the same concourse, you could make it within 20-25 minutes if you needed to.
