Does KE comp?
I was a WorldPerks platinum member from 1997 onwards until NW was acquired by Delta. Except for the first two years, I have been a platinum flying between 75,000 and 170,000 miles per year. Last year, I became a million miler with a total of just over 1.1 million miles, (butt in the seat miles). This does not include hotel, card rentals or credit card miles. The total of all my lifetime miles from all sources is over 2.5 million miles. I haven't got the figures for flight miles plus Platinum bonus miles.
My question, as indicated by the title of the thread is, if I want to switch my loyalty, will KE comp me to some level? If yes, to what level?
Since I have already credited my miles this year, so far, to Delta, it doesn't make much sense to change horses midyear.
I assume, I will not become a premier member until I have credited another half a million miles to Skypass!
If the above is correct, am I condemned to being a regular Morning Calm member for a few years until I accumulate 500,000 miles in Skypass?

I am not surprised. Their elite levels are based on cumulative flying and are setup to reward longtime flyers. The programmes is ideal for those starting from scratch. It's not good for people who want to switch from other programmes.
