Transfer or check out?

Hi!

I'll leave a nearby country for Korea and then go back, since I have a double entry visa and need to extend it for the second period. I'm going to ICN, with approximately four hours before flight takes off and head back for the country I traveled from on the same day.

In this case, will I directly transfer at the airport or will I check out like somebody e.g. a tourist who visits Korea and then check in again? If I'm not transfering, 4 h ought to be enough for check out and then check in, right?

Thanks for your answers!

Not sure why it wasn't answered, but 4 hours is easily enough to get through immigration and customs and to get back through check-in, security etc. I have heard that there might be some questions asked if you go out and come right back in however.
