Award miles validity

I tried to search but could not find a definite answer. Does only eligible flights count as "activity" or can the validity be extended let's say by transferring Amex MR points to FD account?

Thanks for the clarification.

Hi there,

The only way to extend validity of your miles is to have a Skyteam flight credited to your account (i.e. you need an elite qualifying flight segment). Transfer of miles, spending miles and anything else does NOT count.

Now, if you live in France and have the Amex Flying Blue Gold card, this may extend your validity as the card earns you EQM.

Cheers,

You don't need to live in France to have the Amex Flying Blue Goldcard, you only need a French bankaccount for that.

But it is really only this card and no other card that earns EQM.
