Why did they promise you an upgrade for the return journey?
A surprise upgrade is nice, being promised one and then denied it AND put in a middle seat... must have been a cruel gate agent.
Or one that has read all the Demon chapters in the manual

Definitely a good enough reason.

I think someone very important turned up. From aisle in midcabin, to c, and then back to the hellhole in couple of minutes.
Demon or relative? I dont know.
