Checking in baggage the previous night at LHR
Hi,
I have an early morning departure out of LHR to AMS on KL. Is it possible to check-in the baggage, the previous night? This used to be possible in MUC many years back. Not sure if this is available at the moment out of LHR.
Thanks,
Sandeep

Looking at the KLM website, it states that checking luggage is only possible hours before your flight at outstations and from 6 AM at AMS.

Apart from the fact that it is likely not to be possible, at LHR I would think at least twice before doing that. The baggage will have a very high risk to miss your flight...

Although by mistake
Last night I flew back from LHR to AMS using the machines at the airport. I did not look correctly to my boarding card and checked two bags at the counter.
All well everybody happy. I go though the fast lane and the guy checking boarding card says to me this is for tomorow.
appears I made a mistake and booked the wrong date but still checking in and dropping my bags worked. Just give them a call. technically nothing is stopping you.
