I have just booked an award ticket in business class. I shows class D.
What does that mean?

What I noticed is that I can't reserve a seat online (the flight is Dec.30). Does that have anything to do with the fact that it is an award ticket? Class D?

D is the WBC award class.
Seats - I would call - you should be able to book them - award seats are the same as paid....

If you booked your award through the helpdesk, you need to call them to book the seats.
